The symposium will explore the different aspects of accessibility--beyond
mobility--in U.S. metropolitan areas, and how policy, technology and urban
design affect our possibility to access places, and therefore to create
livable cities. The purpose is to identify the most urgent issues and the
most promising catalysts for improving research and policy in the areas of
economics, health, technology and land use regulations.
